Few shots of the form
« on: August 02, 2009, 02:15:42 PM »
Hey guys, didn't get many shots but I have a few shots of my form from today. Just a short vid, looking for any advice or compliments (if available, lol). Rev rate was calculated at about 500RPMs (plastic ball vid)... throwing old MoRich Sahara, drilled Sarge Easter with pin under middle finger.

not bad, tuff to follow with the camera work.

One thing I personally am a fan of is a loose un-muscled arm-swing. That would be my suggestion but that's more a personal preference and argument over if it's really more repeatable.

lol, I rarely get the chance to use a "bumper"... you seem to have some sort of issue with people who hook the ball? To be totally honest with you I hook it a lot less than most people around these parts, I have never drilled anything to be a "hook monster" and rarely do I play beyond the 3rd arrow. I can make a video of me playing the 2 board... if that will make you happy??

98custom - yeah sorry about the spotty camera work. I have been working on it believe me, its hard though when you can't really feel your muscles pulling the ball up at all... a work in progress.

bighook69 dont get upset about what deadbait is saying. he was going off those videos and ill agree with him. you hooked a weak ball. of course it could of been a house shot or something with a bumper burned up. he was just speaking off what he saw. you asked for suggestions and he gave you one. no need to get mad or anything. I would suggest playing all parts of the lane or at least having that on video. dont take it like hes dissing your game. because you do throw a good ball. id work on not muscling the ball and also have your left arm help you out. it starts infront then goes down then goes back infront of your body before release. keep it out front like a chris barnes or tommy. will help you keep those shoulders in better position. keep it up

Thanks for the advice. I understand both your and deadbaits perspective, but I was not really looking for advice on how i played the lanes, rather just my shot, however I totally understand what you are both saying, if I get the chance to make another video I will play some more extreme lines for you, because odds are that is where more faults are going to be shown.

Sadly right now all I have for an arsenal is a Ebo. Clash and the Sahara, lol, not a lot of selection
