Title: First Video
Post by: floater163 on January 26, 2007, 02:34:35 AM

OK I am no videographer but I wanted to take a video to see what I was doing wrong and right with my approach.

I have been bowling for quite a while and am not sure I could even change anything at this point because it is so routine.

Anyway here are my posts with my radical and then immortal solid any comments would be appreciated.

Thx.

I don't think it looks too bad.  The only issue that jumped out at me was that in both videos it looked as if your ball fell off of your hand, just as you were releasing the ball.  I'm not sure if that would be a thumb hole issue (size and/or pitches) or a release issue, but I think that if you could somehow release the ball a little cleaner, it would help in creating some more revs and speed.  In general, it looks better than most around here .

Thanks Strapper I agree with that.  I tend to drop the ball a bit, and when the heads are burnt I have no ability to loft the ball out on the lane.

Do you know what your span and pitches are?

I do not but I could call my driller.  Do you have a suggestion possibly?  I would be willing to try something different to see if I cab get the ball out on the lane better without making any huge changes to my game.

Do you know why you are dropping the ball?  If it is the thumb hole it is eather to big or your pitches may be off.  Size is the first thing I'd check, if that is good then ask your driller to check your pitches.  If you have to much reverse pitch the ball will fall off you hand.
