Title: Ok here we go, This is my shot!
Post by: GetYaWeigtUp on January 06, 2007, 12:43:18 PM
Take it easy on me fellas, I've been bowling 1 year and still looking to really improve my game so I can accept all constructive criticism! These lanes were surprisingly oiled because this house only oils lanes for league play. I went out and practiced today and there just happened to be some oil out, which got me some pretty decent work. I was rolling a Freak by Track!

I'll get more videos next week sometime, battery was nearly dead! More to come soon.

Is that Jerome Bettis?  I always knew he was a good bowler.

I've got nothing.  I wish my delivery was that smooth.

Solid 7 Pin??  299 Game??!! WTF

for 1 year you are doing awesome!
with 1 shot it is a bit tough to tell much about your game.
You seem to have good balance which is good and follow through.
I think it would help if you could get closer to the line.  I'd agree with the previous post that you are a good 2 feet back.  Its ok if the lanes are really oily and u need some help to make the ball hook, but something that is not recommended for your normal shot.
But for a first year you are doing exceptionally well.  You have nice timing, don't force the ball and post up nice at the line.

For your equipment get some cleaner to help maintain your ball reaction.
Still, you are doing fantastic for a beginner!  Keep it up and keep practicing!
