Wow and here I thought I was being fatalistic lately but things are grim if this serious at all. Guess whatever it takes to survive. But yeah not going to be me in a hyperbowl league in this lifetime. Guess this answers that question in the other thread about if bowling is more entertainment than a sport lol.

I don't hate it. Obviously a facet of the game of bowling rather than the sport but that's fine. Both sides need to exist.
But it's not like we're going to see this everywhere. Very few bowling alleys outside of the major city centers are going to pay what it takes to install something like that.

Seriously I have no problem with this if helps bowling centers and the companies who own them stay in business. Its both a game and a sport both and it is entertainment. All can coexist and USBC can go away.

It's actually kinda cool. I would change it so the pins don't flash the color, if you want them to light up as the target color just have them light up.
I see all the "this is dumb, it ruins the sport of bowling comments" on the video. This has nothing to do with the sport of bowling and assuming the cost will be sky high there won't be very many of these around. It's more of a tourist attraction unless it's affordable for business owners

Yea I agree.
It’s Top Golf for bowling. Top Golf has not destroyed golf, and it actually brings in a lot of people that wouldn’t otherwise swing a club.
Sport bowling and hyper bowling can coexist just fine. And if it drives some people to consider joining bowling leagues, even better.

Yeah whatever it takes. Even made my peace with cosmic bowl now I found the lanes on the end have red lights that shows the arrows at the local Bowlero. Nice to have one whole side of the house to myself. Whatever it takes to keep bowling alive. Adapt or die like anything else.
