Recently i been told spin the ball cause i have a lower track but i feel as thought i'm behind the ball heres a quick video i shot with my phone. i'll get a better one soon but i want to raise m track could anyone suggest something that i might be doing wrong?
Your release doesn't seem terrible, but you could have a lower track because you're thumb is in the ball while you're trying to turn it. The video was real clear, so I could be mistaken. My track can get low when I do that.
Any turn you put on the ball should be after your thumb clears the hole.

Where's your oil/track lines on the ball after you throw it? For a quick guess take a look at the pic, my track lines start at number 3 than it migrates towards & past 1 as it goes down the lane. If you were a spinner your track would be somewhere below 1, low track around 1, med. 2 and a high tracker 3. Which one is yours? Usually if your a high tracker, your release is pretty much up the back of the ball. But this will give you a quick generalized answer. For the truest answer, roll the ball and have your track measured by someone who knows how to do it.

My track is 4 right 0 up I do know that. and i'd say guessing it would start between (1) and (2) or (1) in your diagram. I'm avg pretty well round lower 220's but always looking for ways to improve and I'ts difficult for me to understand how to stay more up the back of the ball and maintain rotation. My other specs are (when we last used the digital software) was rev rate 307 speed 17.5 and rotating about 45-50. Thanks to everyone taking the time to reply
Approach the game with no preset agendas and you'll probably come away surprised at your overall efforts.
