Hold That, anytime you come on here asking for advice, please take it with a grain of salt, ok? We can go over and over on here everyday about the right(and wrong ways) to throw a bowling ball, when really there is no right or wrong way to do it! You can take 6-11 steps, walk sideways on the approach, cut your follow through off, fully extend it etc. The point is, whatever you do to get to the foul line, do it the same everytime. From the time you pick your ball up off the rack, till you follow through while watching the ball roll over your target, do it the same way every time.
Not many bowlers have a textbook approach, especially on here. Heck, we can pick apart the greatest bowler of all time's game, Walter Ray Williams, and find numerous things he does "wrong" technically, but he gets the job done right? Because he does the same thing everytime he throws the ball. Learn a pre-shot routine(if you dont know what that is p.m. me and ill explain), but more importantly find a good coach in your area that can teach you the basics of lining up properly in your stance to start. Good Luck!
