That's right, another!
Me thinks my NHP shows a touch more angularity than Bar's, no?

Nice vid bud!
Glad you did yours on a worn THS...now everyone can see how it can bounce off the dry with a little wear in the shot but is still contollable, where as in my video it was tamed down slightly more in the back...great ball!!
Either that or you just have that much more hand

This will function as a ttt, and add more info --
I don't really know how much wear the lanes had, but they did break down pretty fast, requiring me to keep moving in (and the video was shot after a few games by me on the lane). Really, the NHP was probably a little too much ball for the condition -- as evidenced by all the nine-pins I left.
About the amount of hand...I dunno really. I've tried to measure it myself, but you often come up with drastically different numbers. If anybody wants to be venture a guess, be my guest.

In a word, YES!
For me, with the drilling I have on it, this ball has fantastic recovery down the lane. However, with the stronger pin-PAP distance, it does need some head oil...otherwise it burns a little too much energy in the front.
Compared to other balls in my arsenal, the NHP is a few boards stronger than my Hei$t, with about the same length. You might find this hard to believe, but my Hei$t is drilled quite weak -- 5.5x5, with the pin well above the fingers for added length.
The NHP, in my opinion, could be anything from smooth-rolling benchmark to an angular pearl used to really open the lane up. As I had no need for the benchmark (Hei$t does that well enough), and as I needed a ball with a strong, continuous breakpoint, I chose a layout that would give be good length with a strong move. I moved the pin closer to the VAL, while keeping a strong(ish) pin-PAP distance, in order to accomplish this.
Hope this helps.
