Here's my first video review. Had a few balls drilled up and I wanted to put two side by side for a little comparison.
This was on a house shot but it was around 7pm so there was a bit of open play on it. They had not run the night shot yet.
All feedback is welcomed.

I'm really interested to see the difference on a fresh shot, so if can do another video it would be much appreciated.

very nice video. will have to have my brother watch it since he has the 505a and will be looking for a ball over it come winter time.

Thanks!
@MrPerfect... I rarely get to bhowl on fresh oil. I don't bowl leagues and usually when I get to practice it's in the evening. But I will ask if I can get them to put down a fresh shot for my pair. I know the people over there so they are nice to me. Might be able to get them to put down a sport shot!
@icewall... I have a 505T waiting to be drilled, too. I've heard real good things about it. I will likely get it drilled with a 5" pin, just like the 505A. I'll post a video of the two side by side.
I also had a Freeze drilled up and I know I will use that one. Really good length with just a little pop in the back. Perfect for regionals in the later games or when I need to "play it safe".

How you like that 2 1/4" layout? Just curious as to what you were expecting with that layout, and if you achieved that.
-
@Gunny... the 2-1/4" pin is my personal favorite. I have this layout on a 505C, Tempur, Full Swing and a couple others.
By design, it's a very arcy layout. It rolls up early and lays off in the back. I used to have more revs than speed so this was a way for me to stay out of trouble. Label layouts were too strong in the backend.
A weak pin like this is good for heavier oil because the ball will read earlier. It's also good for high rev players because it will allow them to play a little more direct (due to the weaker backend). Can't play too deep with it because it lacks the backend angle. I use this layout on fresh oil, especially when the backends are strong.
The 715C was cleaner in the heads than I expected. I didn't throw it side by side with my short pin 505C, but I expect the 715C to be stronger. So in order of weak to strong, I have the Tempur, then the 505C and now the 715C.
My 505T will have a 5" pin. So in order of weak to strong, I will have the Freeze, then the 505a and then the 505T. Might want to add the 920T with that layout for the "Uh Oh" conditions!

Curious as to why you didn't mention that these are 13lb balls? Dude, you suck, you are a hack!! Stand left, throw right, that's all you know. Notice there were no spares shot in this video, because they would have - next to the number!!!
Oh crap, I'm laughing, just couldn't resist. J/K youse guys. Tony is my buddy and we go way back. I drilled his stuff when I was in Houston, and will again, when I get back down there. Nice video Toenee!! You right, still fine at 39! See ya soon!

Me, a couple balls, two lanes, all that is right with the world. Bowling is my haven!

Oh no you di'int!
You best hope you don't grow a pair and decide to bowl the Jonesboro, AR regional this weekend. It's open season on your flat 10-pin butt! If you do go, stop by the dentist to get all that PLAQUE out! I've seen you bowl, foo!
That's right. I went there.
