Every time I've bowled on the Cheetah, if I hit the 1 board, the ball would hook a ton and go high.  If I hit the 2-3 board, it was probably good as long as I stood right on top of the friction.  If I hit 4 or sometimes 5, it would hit very light or whiff headpin completely.  If I hit left of 5, it would hook on the fresh backend at 35 feet and pick off the 4-7.  And if I tried to swing it to the friction, it'd never hook.

Hrm...odd video to say the least.  I've never bowled on a Cheetah that would let me miss left and live to tell about it.  That pattern is all about hook and drastic changes.  Must be a weird oil machine

As sung to the Bon Jovi in this wannabe's video.

Here's my insight.  In order to get a "real" pba pattern, most of the time you have to strip and lay the pattern more than once, sometimes 3-4 times.  What it does it gets rid of the the house shot hold area that isn't fully removed when the pattern is layed down the first time.  Thats probably why shots pulled inside still held pocket.  If you ever compete in a regional, most of the time the first squad avg. is higher than the 2nd or 3rd squad avg. becuase they usually have more hold.
