Brunswick C (system)3.5
Ball spec's=
15.4 lbs.
2.4 oz. topweight
3 5/8" pin
Bowlers stats=
lefthanded,definite tweener, 16 mph speed
p.a.p. 4 1/2 over, 1/2" up
must say this ball is a definite eye-opener
just drilled it up and have only seen open play with it, tonite will be the first league session, so the review will be updated as more information about this ball is observed.
The drill pattern is pin above fingers centered (or 4 1/2"to pap), mb slightly left of thumb (1/2"), I have drilled the last 3 Brunswick pieces this way to test the strength, ball to ball (apples to apples) so that a specific drill pattern does not influence the way it rolls.
I have observed so far, easy thru the heads, a move at the backend I have not seen, with me throwing the shot, very angular and continuous in the pin deck,
throwing messengers and leaving the occasional
stone 8 or 9 pin, but seemed to carry out the corners with ease.
Those that are in the Detroit area will recognize these bowling centers were I have tested the 3.5 so far, the conditions are normal house shot oiling, but on 3 different surfaces, they are Five Star (Brunswick synthetics),Kingswood (AMF synthetics) and Sunnybrook (? wood lanes), had the best reaction on both synthetics, the 3.5 was just too strong at Sunnybrook.
grade= Brunswick c system 3.5= A plus and then some
Get the c 3.5 before your competition beats you with it.
Special thanks to Frank M @ Brunswick for getting this out to me.

FIRST, LATE ME SAY, I AM NO EXPERT, BUT I LOVE BOWLING. MY STYLE OF BOWLING IS BETWEEN A STROKER AND A TWEENER, I AVERAGE AROUND 205, I THROW AROUND 16 MPH. I USUALLY PLAY DOWN AND IN STYLE. I HAD THE C-SYSTEM 3.5 DRILLED TO GO LONG. I ADJUSTED THE SURFACE A BIT, FIRST I USED A GREEN SCOTCH BRITE ( ABOUT 600 GRIT) THEN FINISHED IT WITH A WHITE SCOTCH BRITE ( ABOUT 1500 GRIT). I USUALLY PLAY UP THE 5 BOARD AND LET THE BALL DO THE WORK. WITH THIS BALL I WAS ABLE TO MOVE LEFT AND THROW OVER THE TWELVE BOARD OUT TO THE 5 AND WATCH THE BALL MAKE A LATE BREAK AND DESTROY THE POCKET. THE BALL MAKES A VERY STRONG LEFT TURN, I LOOK LIKE A CRANKER WITH THIS BALL, AND THAT'S NOT EASY FOR ME. IT DID TAKE A LITTLE GETTING USE TO, BUT NOW I AM VERY CONFORTABLE WITH THIS BALL. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS BALL TO ANYONE.
THANKS,
