Likes: nice arc to the pocket. I haven't shot under duece since purchasing the ball.
Nice finish and doesn't over react.

Dislikes: missing outside not enough to get back leaving a washout

I'm a full roller and my aggressive stuff usually burns up by the end of the second game. I have used this ball with the factory finish with really good results. I actually had my best game at the Hoinke Classic in Cincinnati, Oh. with this ball. It is listed as a dry lane ball, however I have had success with this ball on medium to dry. It carries very well.
Likes: Carries better than expected. I can use it on more than just dry lanes.

Dislikes:  I have had it check up on me sometimes. But overall, its a great ball to go to when the lanes breakdown.

Likes: I had this a 4000/polished and while it got to the pocket consistently, I left a variety of 10 pins, 8 pins, etc. I slapped 2000 grit on it, played right down 10 and shot 245-279-279-803. That was my first 800 after 45 years of trying. This ball just blew the rack apart. Unbelieveable for a ball that's not supposed to do anything. I have now been converted from wheeling it from gutter to gutter.

Dislikes: any polish on this ball

The Slingshot is a very good ball on shorter and/or conditions with less oil. I also believe it is a good ball for all different kinds of bowlers, from beginners to the more advanced. The Slingshot shot does not over hook, and allows bowlers to keep a straighter projection line down lane. If you are just learning to get the ball to hook, or would like to, I believe the Slingshot is a good ball for it. It will allow you to stay in an area you are comfortable with, without having the ball hook off the lane from the friction. Also, when the lanes start to get tough and my other equipment is too aggressive for the front part of the lane, the Slingshot will help me straighten my angles up and get to the pocket on a more consistent basis.
