Layout: Pin 4.5" from PAP and above fingers, no X-hole, left at factory surface

LANE CONDITION

Length: 40

Volume: Medium - Kegel Ice

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc): THS

COMMENTS

Likes:  An everyday type of ball reaction.  Fairly strong/smooth, yet the ball doesn't quit as I move inside with it.  What more can I ask out of a ball?  Compared to the pearl version it's about a 2&1 stronger on the fresh, and 4&2 (for me) as the lanes start changing.  Just an excellent choice as "first out of the bag" for most THS conditions with medium oil volume.

Edge Solid is a winner. I loved the Melee Jab, the Solid gives me that look, but with not the late break the Jab gave me. I drilled mine up 50x5x40,applied 1000 surface to it, throw this on the PBA50 pattern. The results are it allowed me too move right and play straighter through the heads which were hooking early. Next up I will drill the Pearl, which compliments the Solid

The Edge Purple Solid

I drilled my Edge 55 x 4 x 35 putting the pin just above my right index finger.  This ball is all about control and consistency.  I’ve altered the coverstock quite a bit, but have found that I love it most with a 2000 grit cover.  This ball is great for medium oil as well as tougher sport conditions.  I used this ball during the team event in Nationals and had a great look with it.  This is also a great go to ball if the lanes transition or break down.  I think this ball will be suitable for most league shots as well.Feel free to contact me by email with any questions; troy_300_1999@yahoo.com.

Type: THS and Sport Patterns (General Review)

Likes: Versatile, Benchmark Ball, Even and smooth arcing ball

Dislikes: N/A

I am really enjoying throwing the Brunswick Edge Solid.  It is a great benchmark ball and is versatile on all conditions.  This is the ball that I take out at the beginning of league or a tournament and use it to gage what the pattern is like.  It's just a great benchmark ball for my game.

This ball rolls very consistently and strong and is a medium hooking ball with a controlled motion.  It needs some oil in the front to get it down the lane but once it exits the pattern, its motion is even and predictable.  This ball is very versatile and I can use it on most patterns I bowl on.  I can play straighter with this ball or get on the side of it and arc it.  I’m taking this ball with me to every league night and tournament!
