I have a Groove urethane wich i use on all oil patterns. It is best when it is dry or medium oil,but it can be used with alot of revs on heavy oil. This ball hooks almost to much on dry oil to me.i am a 15 year old stroker with high speed(22-23mph) and alot of revs. The best i have played in tournament with this ball is a 286 and a 278 after each other. My average is around 190,but i have played 6-series up to 223 in practise. This is a very good ball for beginners who have alot of revs.

This is review on Blue sanded Groove urethane.  Probably one of the best dry lane balls around.  Good skid through heads.   With a little "hand" makes a good move on backend.   Good hit.  This is another "diamond in the rough" for a big hand player.   Great entry level for somebody wanting to move out of plastic.   Not very much difference in this Groove and reactive Grooves.

This is for the green pearl Groove Reactive.  I've been bowling with this ball for about 8 years in regular and not sport condition leagues.  It was drilled off label and with the "X" axis  hole for maximum hook and flare.

On dry or medium conditions, I have to throw a bank shot off the dry boards on the right hand side.  It reacts off the 3-5 board like it's a wall shot.  On oily conditions, accuracy has to come into play because an inside shot through the center or outside between the 1st or 2nd arrow maximizes it's oily condition handling and hitting power.  No matter what shot you throw and whatever lane condition is out there, it hits like a ton of bricks!

I recommend the Groove series, and am awaiting the arrival of my proactive black sparkle Groove in a few days.  During tournaments or sport condition leagues, I utilize the Inferno series, but will review them when I bowl a few more weeks in league and break them in a bit more.
