The Ringer Solid has to be one of the strongest balls available at its price point. I didn't really have anything in mind when drilling the Ringer Solid. I just applied one of my favorite layouts and went to the lanes. This Ringer was noticeably smoother and stronger than the other two. I found it to be an arrow and a half stronger than the recently released platinum. It is also quite a bit sooner. The shape of the reaction is smooth and predictable with no surprises. I have found this ball to be the best in my bag for reading a pattern and I use the shinier one as my benchmark ball. Once I got it dialed in I decided to drill the second one with a little larger angle sum and leave the surface for blending out wet/dry patterns. The polished shorter angle drill hooks about the same amount as my similarly drilled Melee with a smoother shape. The longer drill angle ball with surface is smoother and more predictable yet. It is also a little stronger due to the difference in surface finishes. I have thrown these balls with success on the Cheetah, Scorpion, Los Angeles, and several house patterns. This ball just flat out works and it is currently my favorite ball! I don't leave home without these as it seems to work 90 percent of the time. If your looking for a strong symmetrical ball that doesn't break the bank check out the Ringer Solid!

Likes: The solid cover is a good compliment to the Burgundy Ringer
Dislikes: None
The Royal Blue ringer is a good one-two punch with the Burgundy Ringer. The new solid coverstock on the Royal Blue Ringer will allow you to break down the pattern and get through the slicker or heavier oil. For an "Entry Level" ball, the Royal Blue Ringer has performance in mind. This ball will start up earlier than the other 2 Ringers, but will have a smoother roll on the back part of the lane. I drilled mine with a modified Rico to get me a different motion in my bag to help control the reaction because of my higher rev rate. I have used this ball on the WTBA Seoul oil pattern which allowed me to swing it a little, from 15 at the arrows to 6 board, and still have the recovery down lane. I have also used it on a house shot which allows me to smooth out the wet/dry conditions. Likes: Smooth as creamy peanut butter. Perfect ball for fresh conditions when other stuff is flippy. Unbelievable performance at this price point

I was looking for something to smooth out fresh house conditions. The solid cover and lower differential numbers looked promising, so I gave the Blue Ringer a shot. Great idea.
With this layout, I get a nice, smooth curve on the fresh. I started out with the box finish and could play outside the oil line. Out of curiousity, I hit it with a 1000 Abralone and boy oh boy, did this wake the ball up. I had to move a good 5-7 boards with both my feet and target to control the new surface. Shockingly, this "entry level" ball was reading the oil and banking nicely off the spot. I realized that I had other balls with better cores to handle this, so I took it up to 3000 (a little rouger than the box finish) and it was perfect.
Great symmetrical ball that I'm sure would be a mid-range ball for a few other ball manufacturers.

Likes: There is no amount of oil that can stop this ball. Being a mid price range ball you cannot go wrong with its ability to help a bowler have reaction on the heaviest of oil conditions. I drilled one using a dual angle layout (45 x 4 1/2 x 70) and one at (70 x 5 x 35). The pin up Blue Ringer is amazing. I recently used it on a 47 foot pattern. Where other bowlers were complaining they couldn't get their ball to react, my Blue Ringer was hooking just before the pocket allowing me to take out the 10 pin all day long. With its medium Rg core, this ball easily gets through the fronts. I used it on typical house shot as well. I was able to play left of most people and the ball cleared the fronts so well, and when it cleared the pattern made a hard move to the pocket, with continuos motion through the pins. This ball is very versatile and responds well to any cover stock alterations. Its a must in every bowlers bag as it will always give you the comfort in knowing there is no pattern you are going to bowl where this ball won't hook. Its absolutely incredible.
