- ** RG and Diff are based off of 15 lb. balls

- A few tiny pit holes in the cover stock of the ball are normal

Testing done on Kegel Middle Road 39'

The Gold Rhino Pro is a great addition to the vintage line. The Fortify pearl cover enables the ball to go very long before it starts to see the lane. This ball is great in league because you can stay further right longer which creates more angle entry and more strikes. This ball is a very versatile ball that will match up to many different styles of bowlers. This ball gives you more overall hook than the LT-48 with a sharper backend reaction. This ball has a $20 instant rebate which gives you a ton of performance for the price. Stop by your local pro shop and have one drilled today, you won’t be disappointed.

Likes:The Gold Rhinopro is back, with a modified version but  keeping what made this ball great, which is the skid flip motiin.I have to say that I was overly excited when I learnt that Brunswick was amaking this ball, I loved the original one back in the day.

I drilled mine 45x4x60, with a P3 hole. I wanted the ball to fit between my grease monkey whack and my original gm. Got exactly that,  easy length,  little bit of midlane with an angular move to the pocket.  I usually have issues with carry with this type of drill when opening up the lane, never seem to get enough backend. But with this ball, its not the case, it flips anyways.

Brunswick really hit the nail on the head with this release, their vintage line just keeps getting better.
Dislikes: None, this ball is awesome.

Likes: Love the Color, Very Rich Looking. Great Ball reaction and hit for the money. I drilled my Rhino Gold with my favorite layout 55X41/4X35. Motion is of a typical pearl reactive. Very clean through the fronts and very strong change of direction when the ball comes in contact with friction. Very hard hit for a symmetrical core. Bowler with slower speed, drier lane conditions or rev dominant players will love this ball. Compared to the Brunswick Fortera Intrigue, the Vintage Rhino reads a touch earlier and is much smoother off the dry.

Dislikes: None.

First,  please forgive me for my newness to all of this and not understanding most of the bowling jargon that is being used.  But hopefully I can get a response to my question. I am not a new bowler,  but becoming more of an avid bowler. I am left handed and was using a plastic ball,  stepped up to the Brunswick Strike King which has improved my game tremendously.  However picking up the 7 pin is a headache, however I am looking for a ball to add and I am wondering if this would be a good ball to add?  Thank you!

Drilled up the new Vintage Gold Rhino Pro
Layout.....35 x 4 4/1 x 30....wh on PAP
Ball speed.....17


I was so excited when this release came out as I bowled my first 300 with the original.

That is exactly what I got but with it has a stronger back end on the fresh that I thought. The Gold Rhino Pro gets through the fronts super clean and with a quick move off the spot.  THIS BALL DOES NOT LEAVE 10 PINS.....
This ball will not disappoint. The core and cover stock combination is wonderful for my speed and rev rate.
I recommend everyone to add this ball to their arsenal.

The Rhino is back, Stronger than ever! The second release in the Vintage Line gives you more length and overall hook than the LT-48. The Gold Rhino Pro has the High Differential Vintage core and is wrap with the Fortify reactive coverstock. With the royal compound finish, the Gold Rhino Pro skids effortlessly through the front and has superior entry angle for exceptionnal pin action.

I drilled it 50x4.25x70. The reason: THS! That’s the first ball out of my bag when I bowl leagues. Predictable reaction with a lot of backend. That’s the perfect ball for me because I’m an high rev, cranker type of player. With the Rhino, I can play 3 or 4 games league without changing to another ball. It gives me enough control on fresh condition and a lot of backend when the lanes open up. To give you an idea, I put 4K abralon on it to calm down the reaction even with the pin down drilling.

I recommend that ball for every bowler who wants a ball that has a lot of backend at an affordable price.

Vintage Rhino Pro Gold
Bowler Stats:  375 RPM, PAP 4 5/8 over, 1/8" Up
Ball layout 60x5x40 (pin up) at 4k.
The intent of the Rhino Gold would be to fit below the Melee Jab (which is REALLY strong off the friction), yet stronger than the LT48 to be used on burnt up patterns.
My initial reaction to this ball was amazement at how long it slid in the oil.  As a player who much prefers open angles than staying up the lane, I should have known that high gloss on a pin up pearl was going to be a bit sensitive, so a quick hit of 4k immediately blended out my reaction.
I've thrown it on 37' Broadway, 41' Beaten Path as well as our house pattern.
Surprisingly, the Rhino gave me a decent look on short and allowed me to stay further right than with most of my other equipment.  It held line well on shots inside of target but is just too strong off of the friction on shots that hit the friction early.
My best look with this ball so far has been 41' Beaten Path on burn.  The pattern usually starts out best straighter, but in our house breaks down real fast and forces everybody in.  The Gold Rhino gives me a smoother shape down the lane than my Jab but more hook than my Hooligan to be that happy medium to best open up the lane.

I recommend this ball for somebody who is looking for a ball to switch to in the latter games of league play or as a control ball for late in a tournament.  The Gold Rhino Pro would likely be an even better match up for people with softer ball speed and is a ball that I make sure to carry when facing beat up lane surfaces
