what happened to his leg Nick? He was one of my favorites growing up. love the way he hooked it when others couldn't get it to wrinkle.

Robert tried to defy the laws of gravity, but in his case, CG mattered!

I'll let him chime in on the specifics, should make for a gruesome story... This all took place almost 2 years ago if my memory serves me correct.

Whoa, that's incredible to have that happen to someone. It's great he's still with brunswick, even after the accident. He must love his job alot. i know if i wasn't able to bowl anymore i'd probably go nuts a bit.

Hopefully i'll meet you at Bowl Expo In Orlando.

I'm a wreck! Work is hell. Two bouts of the flu. Then Bill Hall gets ahold of me. You ever tried to bowl with 5 modifications going through your brain? As if that wasn't enough, he added two more things during the last session. ARRRRGHHH!!
But it's coming around. I was actually flinging pins around like a BrunsPup during my last practice session. Even better - once in a while I was actually repeating shots! Another month or two of constant practice and I'll be just as mediocre as I used to be - BUT - with better fundamentals!

SWEEEEEEEEET !!!!!

In all my years on tour, I never had such perfect form. By the way, I don't need a gimp leg to leave the 5-7. Good thing I throw Brunswick, that would of had the 10 with it with any other ball.

By the way, even know it feels like it's been 2 years as Nick guessed, it's really been 11 months. I thought I broke both legs when it happened. Turns out I fractured it above the ankle in 2 places, below the ankle in 1 place, and in the ankle socket it 4 places. The first surgery consisted of adding 3 screws to the ankle area and having 4 rods drilled through my leg and foot to hold it in place for 2 months. The second surgery was pretty much me watching them unscrew the 4 rods back out of my leg while I was awake and unmedicated (much pain, but glad to be out of the traction). The third surgery was for the complimentary staph infection that came with the first surgery. Thanks for that!!! I now have 3 screws still in and a bit of nerve damage that flares up once in awhile if I over do it. Other than that, all's well. I might try to bowl as a lefty again this summer if it works out. Can't see me bowling righty anytime soon.

It sucks to see all these great new B balls being thrown and only getting to watch. Soon though, soon.

Thanks for the Vid Nick. I havn't made a show in years, except the recent ones where I caught a seat in the bleachers.

Luv Thy Nation,

   RoB LAW
