Hi All,

I'm proud to present to you The Brunswick Copperhead and Swarm Video.

http://www.videoballreviews.com/copperheadswarm.html

My Take on the Ball:

The Copperhead and Swarm are great new pieces for Brunswicks renamed Performance line (formerly BVP)...Power Koil 18 has been around forever and there is a reason why, the cover just flat out works.

The copperhead will give you a good look OOB as long as you have some volume...get this thing to the dirt too quick and it will have a tough time recovering as it will expend all its energy up front...a coat of polish will do the trick to fix that tho.  My Best looks OOB were on Shark, Scorpion, and from a deep inside line on a house shot keeping it the oil as long as possible.

The Swarm is the most angular Big B ball i have thrown to date.  This thing absolutely POPS off the dry.  It can get squirty in oil OOB, but get it too some dry and watch it fly...very different from any other piece i have thrown from brunswick.  Be interesting to see what they do with this honeycomb core in the future.  Scorpion wasnt the best look for this ball, and i think it will be more at home (at least for normal handed guys) on shorter patterns and/or medium volumes and lower.

Senor Taco is a local resturaunt that buys sweep space at the bowling alley...no mexico joke please

whats up brit...overall how do you like them so far...its funny cause i was talking to my ball driller and those are the same layouts i was gonna go with on both balls

Overall these are very solid performers...On a Typical house shot the swarm will get more play with both being OOB...the copperhead is all about control, and if you want to use it on a typical house shot more than likely you are going to have to raise the surface grit unless you have a good amount of speed or oil volume.

If you want a more controlled look for the swarm you can always knock the polish off...or go with a more controllable layout...if i were to drill mine again i might have went with the pin lower and closer to my PAP for a bit more control, but thats just the look i like to see personally, some people want to see the ball go sideways and some dont!

Hope that helps...

I cant see these at work....stupid websense!  oh well...but based upon the comments so far, if one were to use the copperhead on the Cheetah pattern, better put a shine on it and/or bring it up to a rough buff vs the 800 grit on it OOB?

Swarm is the one of the best THS balls ever made, cannot shoot bad with it low game of 198 out of at least 15.

I've been saying it for about a month now, but for me the Swarm is more angular than any Brunswick ball that I can think of.

The Copperhead is strong so I think many bowlers will hit it with a touch of shine for house shots, higher volumes will be able to use it dull and enjoy it's control.

Good videos.
