1st league night w/ SWARM - Update added

Well I had been struggling as of late in our league so I figured what have I got to lose? We bowl 4 games, moving 1 pair each game. Plenty of oil.

Threw the Swarm for the first time, and shot a respectable 999 series. Played a down and in shot around 7-8 board all night, and this ball has some serious "guts" at the pins. I will post a more detailed review after I've thrown it more, and at a few different houses, so stay tuned...

By the way, mine is drilled 4x4 below fingers, no balance hole needed, factory surface.

Anytime. Send me a PM. Let's also talk about layouts. I noticed your PAP in your profile and suspect that if you're getting the "standard" layouts that higher track bowlers get, that could also be a source of frustration with the Twisted.

kody42,
Don't be afraid to experiment with the Twisted. 2000 abralon seems to give many the right combination of mid-lane read and recovery. If that's still not quite right, you may want to re-drill it.
In their ball video Brunswick recommended going about 1/2" closer to leverage than normal with it due to the cover and core combination. I drilled my Swarm pretty strong and don't regret it. I'm actually having a great time watching this ball react and hit. Let me know if I can help any further.

BC is the guy who carried me all season long. He wears a cape and gets dressed in phone booths...
