Heavy Oil Arsenal
« on: February 23, 2009, 10:22:22 AM »
Since my heavy oil arsenal consists of a Momentum Swing @ 1000 Abralon and playing up the boards with a Twisted Fury @ 360 grit, I think I need to address that area.  The Momentum is drilled pin-up leverage with the pin just to the right of my ring finger.  I am considering adding two balls, the first is a Twisted Solid drilled RICO since I have had success with this drilling on the Torsion core.  The second ball I am thinking of adding is a Maxxx, but unsure of how I would drill it yet.  Would you consider this a good heavy oil arsenal?  I typically throw around 14.5 mph with closely matched revs with a medium track.  Thanks for your time.

the maxxx zone will handle tons of oil. Its is not a big hooker at all, but it does get traction very easy. I would consider drilling it pin under, maybe a 4 x 4 drilling, then you would be cooking with gas!

Hmm..Lets see what I have in this bag...some magic, some hot sauce, and a saw.. how can I loose?

as far as a heavy oil arsenal you could do way better than brunswick stuff.

morich ntense levrg
storm virtual gravity
900 global break
lane#1 dynamo or agent orange
roto-grip rouge cell
hammer sauce

any of these balls are far superior than anything brunswick has out for oil

maxxx zone i have mine 4.5 pin down the ball regardless is a lot more length till it gets to the backend id say more skid snap because its move is a little more later down the later compared to some more rolly balls but mine is also 2000+polish instead of oob 600 grit its a good ball good carry for me been averaging 245 since i got it :O!

It is very obvious that you have no idea about either Maxxx or Blast. From my  experience (both as a player and proshop operator), side by side, Maxxx is much continuous than original Cell and stronger (especially down the lane) than The Break.

Furthermore, Rogue Cell is NOT the replacement for original Cell and it is NOT intended for heavy oil. Cell is still the heavy oiler for Roto..

It is true that there are many good products out in the market for heavy oil from many different manufacturers. However, not matching up with one core or coverstock does not give anyone the right to bash all the products of that specific manufacturer.

Dear bestbudzs24,

Yes you did not mentioned Maxxx specifically. However, those are your words bashing EVERYTHING from Brunswick. If you do not intend to do so, please do not use words like "brunswick stuff" or "anything Brunswick has out for oil".

if i mentioned the maxx zone it was by accident. the balls i was referring to were the twisted fury solid.the rattler, twisted fury destruction, and the wild ride.many pro shop owners can hardly give these away to put it simply they are not selling and why are they not selling cause they are all pieces of crap.
