Brunswick selling name
« on: April 09, 2009, 07:51:25 PM »
I heard that Brunswick is in talks to sell the ball manufacturing to one of the other manufacturers bringing the production back to the US.

Wanted to know if anyone else has heard these rumors elsewhere?

I have not heard anything about this topic.  I will call the Product Rep for the East Coast and inquire. I will get back to you.

Could it be "the other way around" and be a rumor concerning Morich, who are supposed to quit Brunswick to manufacture their stuff?

Why, he would be the first to know what a major corporation has in their
plans.  After all, a major expenditure in the move to Mexico, surely was
not planned as a long term business plan.  Isn't he the CEO?

Lighten up a little guys.  He said it was a "rumor" and asked if anyone else heard anything similar.

If you heard (or even overheard) something like that, tell me you wouldn't be on this site in a second asking if anyone else heard anything.

In the words of your elementary school teacher(s)..."If you haven't anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."  Though I actually prefer Clairee Belcher's take on the subject..."If you don't have anything nice to say about anybody, come sit by me!"

(Time to turn in my mancard - I just posted a quote from Steel Magnolias.)
