I kid i kid!!!
Just picked one up yesterday and it is pretty amazing, rolls a bit stronger than i thought it would on my league shot. Drilled it fairly strong, about a 4-4 1/2 pin to pap, pin under ring finger, weight hole down on VAL. After seeing the reaction i think i should have went with the hole on the VAL to tame the reaction a bit.
Very smoooooth through the front, picks up in the mids and then flips hard on the back. A little more than i would like, but i think i'm gonna adjust the cover see if can get a better reaction. Polished equipment doesn't seem to work well i for me in this house.
I did notice a small crack in the pin.
Mini review: After owning this ball for a few weeks, i'm VERY impressed by it, smooth roll, makes a nice move to the pocket, carry is exceptional. I used it tonight on a burnt house condition, early tourney, open bowling, lanes were pretty toast. It was actually a little strong for the angle i wanted to play. But if i got it outside of 5 it came screaming back to the pocket. After a few hand adjustments i was able to find a line that i was comfortable playing, great push through the fried heads, nice midlane read, and strong move to the pocket.
I'm really interested to see what the solid will do with the pk 18 cover! It is pretty amazing with the n'control which i didn't like on the slayR.
