close but does not have the white in it.  I am talking about something that is going to catch someone's eye.  Purple and silver is on almost every ball.  Have something that stands out.

Brunswick might have gotten feedback from the Classic Zone Red Pin, and no, they don't have a "weak pearl Zone," technically, I just don't know if that core would work so well with weaker covers.  I love my Red Pin, but it's still quite strong.  I would definitely expect particle releases though, they haven't had anything particle in a while.

Brunswick's all but said that Activator doesn't match up well with higher-RG cores.  The Intense Inferno, the Blazing Inferno, and the Impulse Zone seemed to be very hit-and-miss.  Notice that the RG was higher on those balls than the other Inferno and Zone line balls.

It seemed like hardly anyone didn't match up with the OI or VZ, but I remember more than a few people saying that the BI, II, and IZ were duds for them.  I know people with both the BI and II and they seem to like them just fine, but lots of people didn't.

My guess is that if they put Activator on a mid-priced ball, it'll be a new core.  Or at least not the mid-RG BVP core.

I agree.  The balls you mention might be considered "niche" balls, very condition specific.  A lot of people don't want to pay Zone or Inferno prices for a "niche" ball.  I would, however, put down BVP-type money on something to fill a hole in my arsenal.  Remember, the question wasn't "what do you think we'll see", it's "want do you want to see?"
