3 ball Inferno Arsenal
« on: December 09, 2006, 03:46:35 AM »
I am creating a 3 ball Inferno arsenal and would like some opinions. The balls are:

Scorchin
Total
Smokin White Pin

I am planning to leave all 3 OOB finish.

I already have the smokin wp drilled and love it. It is drilled 4-1/2" ptp with pin under middle finger/bridge. No x-hole. This ball is long with a nice smooth arc in the back. I can actually play down and in with this ball. Thats something hard to do for me.

I have the Total layed out pretty much 2E on the sheet, but instead of 4-1/2" ptp, I put it 4-1/4" ptp with pin under bridge. CG is slightly below and right of center grip. It will be close to borderline for needing a x-hole. If so I was thinking of puting a flare increasing x-hole in it?!?

The Scorchin I need ideas on for a layout. I have 3 to choose from with all small pins so that it will roll earlier.

1" pin

2" pin

2-1/4" pin

all have 2 to 2.5 oz tops.

I had thought about drilling it Rico, but the one ball(absolute inferno) I had drilled like that before kept flaring over the fingers. I also really like 3" ptp with pin right of ring. Thats one of my favorite drills. Any suggestions?

My specs are in my profile.

I know this leaves a gap in between the Total and Smokin WP, but it should cover all league shots. If I really feel the need to fill that gap later, I have a NIB Radical sitting here too.

Wow! After watching Sean Rash throw his Total on the show, I decided to change the layout on my Total. I moved it from pin under bridge(4-
1/4") to pin over bridge(5"). I was amazed at the reaction he got with the pin above and left of his middle finger.
