Power Groove Reactive Vs. Rampage
« on: February 26, 2008, 01:29:20 PM »
I know the rampage is PK18 and  the PG Reactive is PK17 but, can the PG rival the Rampage with comparable hook and hitting power?? I just got a Pink/Blue Power Groove Reactive free and its already drilled up with the lay out i want on it just need to redo the thumb. Pin above the fingers and slightly right with the CG near the center of grip.

Thanks in advance.

The PG is going to be a step down from the Rampage.  Where the Rampage will be a medium-oil ball for most people, the PG will be a medium-light piece.  You'd have to adjust the surface of the PG to make comparable in total hook and shape to the Rampage.  Maybe give it a Rough Buff finish instead of the High Gloss polish.

Okay, I already have a surface in mind as I thought that would be the case. 2000 grit with matt finish on it. The ball would have a slight shine to it.
