Wow, I really like how the Asian guy bowls.  Very smooth and consistent.  The european guy on the other hand, not so much.  Is he bowling thumbless?

That's Osku Palermma, a two handed/thumbless bowler.  I believe last year he was ranked as the #2 world amatuer only behind #1 ranked two hander Jason Belmonte.  Osku is the real deal.  However the winner here had a really sweet game.  The perfect rev/speed ratio.  That type of roll is what I'm practicing to acheive.  Very good stuff.

Real deal eh?  I guess to all his own.  I personally think that style of bowling is kinda weird, but I guess if you practice it enough, it'll work out for you eventually.

I have seen Osku Palermaa loft over the left gutter to about 5 feet after the arrows, and i was shocked, i had no words to say, that was really weird... And on the other hand, i had the chance to bowl with him in the world youth championships in Germany, he shot 259, i was 157

Here's a better link..

http://www.bowlingdigital.com/bowling/node/12790/1

On the left side just press Video Clips..

As to Osku being the real deal.. I can only agree.. He was the defending champion in Vienna.. Besides that i can't imagine what he's achieved in his career.. He's won a couple of tournaments, countless top placings, made the show at the US Open, and the latest won the World Cup in Venezuela..
I've bowled numerous times with him on the European Tour, the latest was in Vienna.. And he's no joke..

But the winner, Wu Siu Hong, was hot that week.. I crossed with him in one game.. And he's as smooth as they come.. He dominated the whole tournament thru and deserved to win..
