ULTRA ZONE
« on: February 04, 2008, 08:32:02 AM »
This ball is amazing, I threw it yesterday at a tournament.  This ball is real clean throught the heads, nice backend also.  All that I throw is brunswick, and I would have to say that this is probably the best ball I have thrown since the zone classic.  I would recommend this ball to everyone.  Great Job Big B!!!!

Really...I thought Ciccone looked far better than anyone the complete show...locked in...except for ONE shot!  Aiiiiieeee!

The Blast Zone's I've seen in person have been shiny...Joe's looked Dull and have been pretty jjjjjummmpy!

I thought it was the other way around. The Blast Zone looked like a real clunker to me. That left lane appeared to be tricky and Russell had the best reaction by a mile of anyone on that lane. As for the Ultra rolling-out that's a combination of Russell's roll and and Brunswick ball. However, from my vantage point the Ultra looked ok.

i am in total agreeance with you northface.  This ball looks impressive and I cant wait to drill mine tonight will give a review on it soon.

The tourney was Baker so Russell only bowled on the left lane with the low pin Ultra. And Ciccone only bowled on the right with the dull high pin Blast zone.

The left lane was obviously squirrely and Ronnie made it look good. Joe bowled great! Only two errant shots, the big 4 and the spare.

Wow, I completely disagree with this.  Did you see the reaction that Fagan had on that lane?  He had one of the worse over/uder reactions you can get.  Russel was pounding the pocket.   I really think the Big B has hit a home run with the Enmotion coverstock.

quote]Boy...I was not impressed with the Ultra Zone on TV this weekend.  Bad carry.
Looked rolled out...a bunch(I know...that works some times).

I was very impressed with the dull Blast Zone Ciccone was throwing!

He looked so good...the best out there that day....sad.

Spoke with Ronnie after the show. Said he has thrown 3 of the Ultras and all have been really good. He is from same hometown and bowls in same leagues when he is home. I received my two Ultras today. Don't know when I will drill them as I am pretty happy with my reaction now. Probably before the senior tour starts in April.
