Best 3 Ball Arsenal from brunswick
« on: June 17, 2007, 05:45:41 AM »
Im looking for a good 3 ball arsenal that will cover just about all lane conditions in a typical house. Im a stroker player down and in low revs med-slow speed around 10th board.looking in the mid price range. BVP line and zone.

Ok, but I would replace the Punisher with a Power Groove.

Wait a month...

Blast Zone
Sidewinder (weaker drilling)
Avalanche Pearl

Not that (m)any of us know how these balls will perform. But based on the specs, and what we do know, I would have to say that these 3 balls will easily form a quick, useful arsenal for just about any player...

I agree on the top two balls being the Strike Zone/ Red Zone combo, though many people can save some money if they are smart enough to realize they are the same balls, different colors, and the Red Zone comes polished versus the Dull Strike Zone.

Below those I would have to go with a weak drilled power groove or a Punisher.

Strike Zone
Red Zone
Punisher

IMO that is what I would do, the Punisher is surprisingly strong for me and anytime there are clean backends the ball seems to be usefull. An alternate could be the Power Groove but they are much stronger than many realize as is the Rampage, both can work but surface/ weak layout may be needed for them to fit there.
