Activator cover vs Visionary Immortal cover?
« on: October 19, 2006, 12:11:35 PM »
I was about to pull the trigger on a Red Zone this morning when the Visionary Immortal Solid caught my eye.  I want solid reactive with a assy. core.  Both fit the bill, but I wonder which will be stronger given the same surface and same drill.

as far as strength...  the Immortal should out hook the red zone by far.  but I have no experience with a core with that high of a differential.  it seems to me that the higher the differential the harder it is to control on the backend.  so if your looking for a house shot ball, then the immortal would probably be fine.   but if your looking for a more well rounded ball, I'd probably stick with the red zone.  This is all purely my view on it.  I have not thrown either ball,  but I have seen an immortal pearl thrown and a red zone thrown and the immortal pearl was stronger than the red zone.  don't know the layouts so, I can't be 100% sure on my info.  hope you choose well and score well
