Even if this is the wrong forum, get a Tropical.

I do think that one of the 3 might be a Raw Hammer Toxic!  I have a style similar to yours, and the Toxic is a pretty good ball.

Get a Pain while it can still be found, perhaps one of the other Raw Hammer balls as well.  The Roto planet line is also excellent, from what I've heard, though I have not thrown any of them.  Pain/Doom/Neptune would probably be a nice little lineup.

Mr. Lebowski, this is Bill Salnicker with the Southern Cal Bowling League, and I just got a, an informal report, that a member of your team, uh, Walter Sobchak, drew a firearm during league play. If this is true of course, it contravenes a number of the league's by-laws, and article 27 of the league...

For Brunswick it's gonna be all BVP - Mammoth, Wizard, Punisher.
........................................................... Heavy...Medium....Light..
But as I mention in many posts, I do not find the need for a light oil ball because I NEVER see light oil.  In addition, I have low revs, so my medium-oil ball will work with the whole "stand left, throw right" idea.  If I had to select 3 suitable balls from the BVP line that would work for me, I would take two Mammoths and a Wizard.  One Mammoth drilled strong, one drilled for skid/snap, and the Wizard for a strong arc, medium oil.

That's odd, cause I see lighter conditions all the time. I played a pretty big swing with my Tropical Storm in my High School League. My brother threw a Danger 2 Zone, but towards the end of the season, he was throwing my Crystal Diamond, and even that hooked too much, so he went down to his White Dot.

You really only need 2 balls + spare, IMO. You're not going to run into true heavy oil, or truly dry. I would say from Brunswick a Mammoth/Wizard and Rampage.

For people who see heavier oil more, I'd go Mammoth/Wizard/Rampage.  If you tend to see lighter oil, I'd go Wizard/Rampage/Punisher.  If you want to cover the widest variety of conditions, I'd go with Mammoth/Wizard/Punisher and polish the Wizard.

Alright, I've reconsidered.  I think I'd pick the Mammoth, Wizard, and Punisher.  It's good to have a pearl ball when the solids are burning, especially in practice or on THS.

Like someone else said, there are some great mid priced balls out there and they sure as hell ain't all Brunswick!

Try a Storm Spitfire, or an Ebonite No Limit - there's big bangs for your bucks!!!

Seeing this is a Brunswick forum:

Mammoth = heavy oil particle
Strike Zone = heavy oil reactive

Red Zone/Wizard = medium oil reactives
Ambush = medium oil particle pearl
Rampage = medium oil reactive pearl

Punisher = medium/dry reactive pearl
Power Grooves = drier reactive pearls

All are mid/entry level price, and all should cover most if not all conditions seen.
