Arsenal Help
« on: June 30, 2011, 01:19:05 PM »
I am currently looking to complete a Brunswick arsenal for my upcoming college season. Here is what I have so far:

Anaconda

Wicked Siege (polished)

Original Inferno

I am a right handed tweener with a 14-15 mph ball speed. The biggest problem I had last year was the gap between the Wicked Siege to the low ball. I was contemplating putting a ball above the Anaconda or something to complement the Wicked Siege

 What about a loaded?

What kind of motion would the loaded give me? I know it depends heavily on drilling but would it be a difference from the wicked?

Well, you've got 3 pearl reactives. Might I suggest the new Lethal Revolver? It will handle more oil than the pearls, and will blend out the oil pattern. You can always polish it later if necessary.

I found the loaded to be earlier rolling than the wicked

From experience bowling 2 years in the midwest in college 90% of the patterns are 39-41' and none of them start very wet and they all get super dry quickly.  Its nice to have a solid in the bag though.  Even a solid karma taken down to 2k would probably be enough ball for you.  I have mine drilled 2.5"-pap and its a piece that you can really tinker with by using different hand positions and is good on a pretty wide range on conditions.

Also I would check out the damage as it'd help you a lot late in the block when you need to get way left.  Its high rg core and glossy finish will help you maintain axis rotation longer even in the dirt.  For me it compliments my wicked siege as a step down that I use strictly for the burn.

A ball above the Anaconda would be pretty easy, the C System Alpha Max is a very strong bowling ball. But with the higher rg core (for a HP ball) it gets through the fronts very nicely.

Take a look at the C System 4.5 to go under the Wicked. I think that ball is very underrated for drier lane conditions. I know this ball can be hard to find sometimes, be we still have a 15lb left!  Good Luck!
