Opinion on the Absolute
« on: February 20, 2007, 11:38:56 AM »
I was just wondering what everything thinks of the absolute inferno, because i was thinking of picking one up. Do you guys think i should, or get something with a newer coverstock. I own an ultimate inferno, and i'm in love with it.

Depends on what you want it for.  IMO the absolute is a wonderful ball for everything except really light oil or heavy.  It's versitile, hits hard, and is easy to read on changing lane conditions.

Ditto. Absolute is the best pearl ball i've ever thrown.

i dont have one and have never thrown one ,but i have never ever seen anyone throw one and have it not look great. I mean from 200 bowlers to 130 bowlers the absolute is one of the most versatile and predictable balls i have seen . the only thing i dont like about it is i didnt have the good sense to get one myself.

I love my absolute on PBA and harder patterns with plenty of buffing.

On sharp little-buff house shots, forget it, burns up energy before the pocket.

Predictable as can be, I'll take mine to any house I'm not familiar with.

Mark my words, the Absolute will be one of those timeless balls that people still really like 5 years from now. I predict it will be like the Danger Zone is now.

I didn't really like mine just because it was drilled wrong for me. It was drilled label and it was just too early for me. I did bowl well with it sometimes but, I don't know, it was probably just a PA-Track kind of thing with the drilling. I ended up selling it to a guy that has given me alot of equipment in the past because I knew with the right drilling, this ball would be insane.
