Arsenal Help
« on: December 25, 2007, 02:55:09 PM »
For this next year, I'm taking a head start into getting my arsenal ready for Junior Gold, PBA Regionals, and a mix of sport shots in general.

My speed is around 17-18 with 350+/- revs. I just want to make sure that I have all the bases covered before I jump into the mix. So far, I have:

Fury: 4" pin low, hole down
Blast Zone: 5" pin low, 50* PSA
Pearl Fury: 4.5" pin low
Twisted Fury: 5" pin high, 45* PSA
Wizard: 2" pin, 500 grit+rough buff
Smokin Inferno: 6" pin high, 4000 grit+rough buff

I'm looking into getting at least one RICO ball. Maybe a sidewinder or another twisted.

Please help me fill in any gaps that you see

Jared

The Sidewinder at 2000 abralon would be a great addition. Until you add it, I'd take your Wizard down to 800-1000 grit so you have another ball for slicker conditions to go with the Fury.  The Wizard is one of the most under-rated, predictable balls around.

My Wizard is also a 2" pin and with the above-mentioned surface it was probably my favorite ball on the PBA patterns, because it read the lane early, yet didn't jump off the dry.

The other four balls have the medium to drier conditions covered well, especially with your good ball speed.  Good luck.
