Drilled a Scorchin last night - pictures!
« on: January 22, 2006, 02:09:29 AM »
I shined it up a bit out of the box as you can see.  Haven't had a chance to throw it yet though, I'll update more after tomorrow night.  Looks pretty sweet!

Its hard to play with an inferno and not get burned. Last time I threw my inferno, the opposing bowler definitely got burned.

Wow, Can you say Dull? Why did you apply the polish like that? It looks like you dumped it on there and watched it slide down the ball.

Pin and cg are all in line near grip line.. this is a length drill pattern... why would anyone do that to a heavy oil ball.

Heavy oil balls dont need length since they use the oil to travel and set up there roll, for the back end.

cranking:

Pin position in relation to the grip has no bearing.  It's all depends on the distance from the PAP.  So depending upon his PAP, this layout could be an early reving layout.

Secondly, this has the pin below the fingers and closer to the midline which also makes it roll earlier.

Sorry guys, I've been real busy.  Just have a quick sec.  I just love guys that question a layout without having a clue of what the bowlers PAP is...anyway, this ball is as advertised!  I've drilled up 3 Ulitimates, and this one has a similar roll with a little more pop on the back end.  Can't wait to get another!

WHY do they make balls like that, i guess for the idiots that only hook a ball that looks like a sponge.  put some damn hand in the ball.
