back-ends with lots of carrydown
« on: August 22, 2005, 03:32:16 AM »
Having a p[roblem with this lane condition....no backends..I do o.k. when the lanes are hooking on med, light or even heavy oil as long as I have some backend for the ball to finish with but when I run into a condition with no backend finish I have problems.  I will list below my equipment and perhaps you guys can give me some suggestions on which ball would be best and how should it be drilled and what surfacing technique to use...Thanks, Dr C

personally, i adjust to carry down on the approach by moving right and slowing up my ball speed.
seems to help the ball angle to the pocket.

but my dad on the other hand, has a particle ball, Columbia WoW Pearl.
it gets through the head and the particles help by allowing more friction in oil.

so my vote would be to have the denim quantum (particle) drilled label.

Anything with the inferno name on it, get something with higher flare and scuff your surface a little bit.
