I use my Wild Card to smooth out the backends.  It never seems to give me spotty reaction and is not very angular.  If you want to play more in the track or on medium-dry lanes, the Solid Avalanche would be a good option too.  I find the Green/Black to be a little sharp if the back ends are flying.

The Wild card is very smooth, even polished.  Another option is the Seige if you can find one.  The Avalanche Solid is good too but I think the covers on the Seige and Wild Card are better unless you are bowling on really light oil.  They read the pattern so much better.

The Avalanche Solid, the Green/Black and the Wild Card all fill your basic requirement, but they all handle different amounts of oil. What amount of oil are you looking to bowl on with this ball? and what is your style?

Im looking for a ball to use on med/light conditions with good backends. Typicially I will bowl around 15 board, stroker, mostly forward roll, med speed revs approx 300. Really need something that wont jump too hard when it hits the friction.

Ok, to me, that says the Avalanche green/black pearl, as long as your ball speed id not a lot greater than your rev rate. I think these three (Wild Card, Ava Solid and Ava Pearl) progress nicely from medium-heavy to medium to medium-light oil handling with their stock surface. You could also use the Solid with a slight bit of polish to allow it to go down slightly into less than medium oil.

The Anaconda is a smooth ball but it's not a medium-light oil ball that the OP said he was looking for.
It can handle less than medium oil if you have high ball speed or you drill it very weak.

 Ive seen two anacondas roll,

one by a guy who had the national high youth average 3 years ago....one of the best lefties I know!

And another by an average joe righty averaging 215

The ball seems smooth and controllable off the the spot but that should be because of the rought buff finish, both guys say its one of their best in their bag, pretty much their contol ball.

From what I can tell, isnt the anaconda basically an absolute inferno? That ball was money for many people because the predictability of the ball....

I had a wild ride which had the rough buff finish...mine was completely all mellow and controllable...so I bought one for my dad who has trouble controlling the break point, he loves it
