Title: Ball Cleaner makes Ultimate Inferno surface milky white
Post by: Supercar on January 09, 2005, 05:45:32 AM
I just recently purchased the Ultimate Inferno and when I clean it with Track Magic Clean N Dull, it leaves the surface milky white almost like there is a film left behind.  I try to rinse and whipe it off well after cleaning.

This didn't happen at all on my previous ball.

Is this anything to worry about?

Thanks,
Dave

I saw you mention this elsewhere; so, I tried my CLean & Dull on my Intense Inf. Even left it there for a while. No such result for me, on my ball. Makes me wonder if something's wrong with either your Clean & DUll or with your Inferno.

Did you use a clean towel/cloth?
Was something else on your Inferno, just previous to the C&D application?

Don't know about this particular product but if it is an emulsion or suspension as opposed to a clear solution they will often change characteristics drastically if frozen like in the trunk of a car. Check the bottle or box for do not freeze label.
Pour some into a clear bottle after shaking it vigorously and see if it separates.
If it is a broken emulsion it will leave a sticky white hard to clean film.
This film will usually clean off with any acetone based nail polish remover however be cautious to wipe on and off so you don't damage the surface.
