Quantum Double Helix
« on: August 27, 2006, 11:50:51 AM »
Well, I finally got my double helix back from the shop yesterday and was able to throw a couple games with it. My pro shop guy nailed the drilling so that I track directly over the urethane ring as it goes down the lane (See pics in profile). I was bowling on a medium-heavy house shot. I threw the ball straight down between the 1st and 2nd arrows and this ball had a very smooth yet aggressive backend reaction. It hit very hard and had great pin carry (not a single ten pin the entire time). In fact, I had no single pin leaves at all. I did leave a couple splits that resulted from missing my mark a bit and hitting near the 3-6 pocket.

First game: (first 3 frames were using a different ball)

63 9/ 72 X X X X X 72 XXX 210

Second Game:

X 8/ X X X 72 X X X XXX 245

If the lane conditions are adequate, I hope to get some video footage tommorrow
