Second time using the Wicked Siege
« on: October 31, 2010, 01:21:54 PM »
First of all, I want to thank Nick Smith for the opportunity to get this ball pre-release.  I picked up my Wicked Siege today and decided to have it drilled  using the Dual Angle of 70 Deg x 4 1/2" x 50 Deg which puts the pin right under my ring finger.  I wanted this ball for when the lanes began to break down and one that wouldn''''t react too hard off the friction spot down lane.  I used it today in a 6 game tournament for the first time which had a flatter oil pattern on wood lanes.  The ball had a very smooth reaction and picked up nicely when reaching the friction.  The ball made a smooth reaction on the fresh and didn''''t over hook when the transition was happening in the later games and other people were getting too much downlane friction and going high.  I was able to use the Wicked Siege for all 6 games only having to adjust speed, hand position, and moving 4 boards left.  I am definitely going to be using this ball more often for both leagues and tournaments.  This is another great ball from Brunswick!

I used the Wicked Siege again last night at a house with wood lanes on the 2nd shift league and had games of 243 - 255 - 243 = 741 with 10 strikes, 1 split, and 1 spare every game.  The ball is really smooth, and the Propel X coverstock doesn't over react.  I am working on editing the video, and should have it done this weekend.

I used the Wicked again last night for all 3 games at a house with synthetic lanes, and I am really liking the ball.  The key word for this ball is SMOOTH!  I really like how it has a continuous motion downlane and doesn't over react.  I shot 192 - 247 - 246 = 685 and only throwing 3 bad shots all night.  I left a few 4 pins, 7 pins, and 10 pins and threw 23 out of 24 balls in the hole over the last 2 games with minimal adjustments.  This is defintially one of my favorite Brunswick balls so far.
