Title: Ball suggestion...
Post by: Strapper_Squared on March 26, 2007, 02:11:16 AM
Over the past several months, I have been trying out a number of different balls/manufactures in an attempt to see what rolls the best for me.  And I keep coming back to Brunswick.  So I figure that I will stick with it for a while and see where it takes me.  Here is the equipment I currently have:

Strike Zone - Rico - 500 grit Abralon

Fury (on its way) - Thinking 5" pin to PAP above fingers - 1000 grit Abralon?

**HOLE**

Khameleon (PK18 cover and quantum core) 4.5" pin below fingers, weight hole 4000 grit Abralon

Khameleon 4.5" pin above fingers no weight hole 4000 grit abralon polished

I'm not 100% set of the Fury, but want to be able to switch to it once my strike zone starts setting up too early... looking for about the same strength, but further down the lane.

My "hole" comes after that.  Something for when the lanes begin to break down / carry down and the Fury becomes too much ball...  I'm thinking maybe a medium strong-ish pearl or particle pearl.... Any ideas?  Maybe a total or possibly a Vapor (or is there anything on the horizon being released in the next month or so that may fit my needs?)?  Specifically something to carry along to nationals with me for singles/doubles if I happen to hit a drier pair.

The khameleons may work, but a quite mild and are mainly my "go to" league balls...

thanks,
