Best Inferno on Oil
« on: October 08, 2005, 03:12:05 AM »
In my league, the lanes are usually pretty well oiled. I have been looking at the inferno line for something new. For the most part I have read the Ultimate might be the best, is this true? What do you think would be the best inferno ball on the oil?

it really depends on how much oil you're bowling on. i have a ultimate inferno and it's a great ball. however, where i bowl it's been oilier and tighter than in years past. the ultimate inferno wasn't really getting the job done. my goliath is a much better ball for this condition. the goliath is a great ball for oily lanes and it's less expensive as well.

Heavy would be the Ultimate Inferno.  Meduim-Heavy would have the Absolute Inferno as the top choice.  Although, if your truly looking for a Heavier condition the Strike Zone would be a cheaper alternative.  Similiar to the Ultimate, but with a little more pop on the back.  For a true flood the Goliath would be a great choice, it will get into a roll sooner due to the high particle load, but won't make the move on the back like any of the other 3 listed above.  The Goliath will also be cheaper than the other 3.
