What is the best ball in the Brunswick family of balls in your opinion is the best on a THS?
-
Vapor Zone is the gem of the line. That Hybrid Method is a good one too.
-
Entirely depends on how you throw the ball, the lane surface and the conditions you are bowling on. In my local house its my Cutting Edge Hybrid as an earlier, steady roll without covering a ton of boards is what gives me the right shape to score.
-
Best and THS are really subjective depending on the bowler and the actual conditions.
Anything in the mid range is generally really good. Cutting Edges, Turmoils, Squatch, Vapor Zone
-
Target Zone.
-
Made in USA Absolute Inferno. Bet none their current stuff is better on THS. Long live ebay.
-
Amen donuts. Just picked up a vintage inferno on eBay nib for $70 with shipping. Great deals on Brunswick, radicals, dv8 on eBay. Also great close out prices at buddies on B balls.
-
The one I use most is the Method hybrid. It's way overlooked for some reason, but is extremely versatile anywhere from dull to shiny.
-
Starting to question the existence of THS but apparently they still exist in some places. My two current favorites are the original Method and the Squatch
-
Vapor Zone, but really liking the Quantum Bias Pearl right now
-
Vapor Zone, without a doubt
-
Too bowler and house specific.
Polished Combat Zone is working for me, so whatever rolls like that. Turmoil Hybrid?
Or maybe play 1st arrow with a Twist...
-
Folks!! Thanks for the suggestions!!!!
-
Conspiracy. Vapor Zone. Squatch.
Those 3 are top of the class.
-
Probably the one Made in the USA. Oh wait, none of them are currently Made in the USA.

None of them have been banned and recalled for being out of advertised spec for USBC certification either. Yet some how the world moves on.

I think the made in Mexico gets the bad rap when it was more about the same time Brunswick quit having the best cover stocks on the market formula wise. For example my mexican made PK17 Slingshot is just what the doctor ordered in the dry house. Its more the coverstock formula than where it was made (especially after Mexican plant had been running for a few years, getting kinks out). Will be honest though and say when a ball is available made in the USA from back in the day I am willing to pay more for it. As for today, Big B have some good stuff such as balls listed above (do like my newer Quantums as well) but the Ross Dress for Less comment on here was a bit of a burn.
-
The Fearless and Vapor Zone are my current favorites. If one of them doesn't work the other one always seems to.
-
Vapor Zone, Conspiracy and Squatch have been the hottest sellers in my shop. The Prowler and Ludicrous Solid are picking up a lot of steam as well.
-
Notorious and the Turmoil Hybrid have been my favorites so far this season.
-

Strong chance this guy is wearing a MAGA hat.

Local guys are killing it with the conspiracy pearls...
-
Love my conspiracy pearl. Ball hits like a truck. Amazing continuation through the pins.
-
I'd have to say the Radical Conspiracy Pearl right now. I shot 300/812 Thursday night with it. I would say a close second is the Brunswick Vintage Vapor Zone. Both hit incredible, and no surprise, they both feature DynamiCore technology.

My Vapor Zone (factory finish) was way too over/under for the volume I normally face. Too much skid, but when it finally grabbed it went sideways.
After seeing how many here love theirs I took it to 500, 1000, 3000 and it came to life for me. Let the love affair continue... ;)

I put the old school "rough buff" finish on mine - which is really the same as a fresh 4000 pad -- and its absolute money. I plan to get another one to stash away as I can see this ball being in play for a long time
