« on: October 27, 2007, 01:22:31 PM »
so i just drilled up a smokin inferno (red pin) about a month ago and drilled it pretty weak since i needed a ball for dry lanes.  i threw it a few times on oiled lanes and it didnt move for a damn.  but then i threw it on my lanes last night when they were dry and it still didnt move...i just wanted to see if anyone has had or thrown a red pin smokin inferno and what the deal is??...i kno its supposed to be weaker then the white pin but damn...can anyone lend a hand and let me kno...thanks

Red pin is stronger.
You probably have a really weak, pin up layout on it.
Sounds like its going too far before the break, or your speed is too high.

Soften up on it.

That would make sense then...ima drill it a bit stronger then and keep the ball speed down...thanks Mav...

My Red pin is drilled pin above ring cg kicked down and out with a hole. This is the strongest pearl ball I have ever thrown on tighter patterns. THing is an absolute monster. For myself this was the best Inferno.

You could also try to use a flare-increasing weight hole, under your PAP. It might not help a lot, but before you might plug the ball, this could help you create a little more overall movement.
