You should not post in regards to matters you know nothing about...you are making a personal observation and nothing more.

I don''''t know Rick Benoit, but I do know Chuck. He''''s worked on the tour as a rep for Columbia, and got results.

Face it folks, Brunswick has not been winning lately. When was the last time Parker Bohn won? I think Brunswick is looking for results.

Last week Diandra Asbaty carried better than anyone else. Chuck setup her equipment, and Brunswick got results.

It''''s just business. Sometimes you just have to make a change ...

Look at it like this...if brunswick thinks people buy bowling balls by watching the tv it doesn''''t happen. Diandra did not win because someone set up her equipment properly. She won because of skill and talent. It is the staffers responsibility to make sure the surface is correct for their needs. Listening to Parker on extra frame he was having some mechanics issues which no ball is going to help correct that situation. I don''''t know what some people are thinking on here sometimes.

Criticize me all you want, but it was Brunswick that made the decision. Mr. Gardner is in, Mr. Benoit is out. I've made no statements to Rick Benoit's ability.

However, all of you who chose to disagree with the position that Rick Benoit was replaced by Brunswick was just a business decision, are in fact arguing Mr. Benoit was not doing his job or was unqualified.

So what is it? Is he a competent professional (I think he is!) who was victim of a business decision to make change? Or, as some of you insist it WASN'T a business decision and he was terminated for cause?

If you disagree with the business aspect, can you provide us all with the actual reason why Rick Benoit is no longer doing the job he had until early February?

Also if you are foolish enough to think TV time, and ball choice on television doesn't matter, then why is Chris Barnes using an Ebonite Mission all week, and switches to Columbia's Pure Swing for the show? He represents Columbia, and will bowl with Columbia's equipment when on TV. You might remember he lead the ToC with the Mission, and lost using a Pure Swing. (Kulick WAS using a Mission. Ironic, huh?)

You are obviously a fan of Chuck and not of Rick and that is fine.
But understand things such as certain things being political and games that are played internally. It is not always the best person for the job...it is the best person that plays the game....

And if anyone should understand that it is Ric, right? lol. Let's face it, there are tons of factors to working for a corporation like Brunswick. Saying Rick Benoit was fired for business reasons doesn't mean that he was a bad coach or tour rep.

I do not know why he was fired nor will I try to guess.

Just one point, Baseball managers get fired when the team is not performing up to expectations.  Does it mean he is a bad manager ?  The same manager gets hired by another team and all of a sudden he's in the world series.

Sometimes change is good for everyone.
