Brunswick BVP Arsenal?
« on: November 10, 2007, 10:55:18 AM »
Does this sound like a good arsenal?

Brunswick BVP Rampage (Lighter oil)
Brunswick BVP Sidewinder (Medium)
Brunswick BVP Mammoth (Heavy)

also thinking about changing that mammoth spot with the wizard but most say the mammoth is better. what do you guys think? cheap and affordable.

Good line-up. i would still put the wizard in there OOB for med-heavy. The Mammoth needs an 8ft inground pool of oil to work so that would work better under it.

My rampage would not be a light oil ball. it hooks descently on heavy oil, and alot on medium. i think that would be a medium more so than a light.

I would agree with Bush on this, but it would all depend on how you drill it. Are going to drill it a little on the weak side for light oil?

I would go with
Avalanche-Lighter
Sidewinder-Med
Wizard-Med-Heavy
I think the wizard should cover just about any heavy condition you will see unless you see floods on the lanes week after week.

Since the avalanches aren't available yet, I think you need to go with a Rampage.  Out of the box, they are fairly early/strong, but with a little surface change (took mine to 2000 grit abralon and polish), its a nice lighter oil ball.  I too like the Wizard over the Mammoth for oilier conditions.  The solid PK 18 coverstock is very aggressive when sanded down.

Go for it!

Caught these from fast-forwarding through TIVO of MNF:

Describing the Adrian Peterson injury:
"He was coming through the line to make a move and got blindsided by Al . . . Wil- . . . Al . . . Jackson over there on the tackle"
and
"Alex Smith is learning three different offenses every year."

my friends actually just got me the sidewinder for my birthday last week and i threw it for the first time today. i was very happy with the ball, and its a freaking beast! could just be lanes, but that ball still moved with power. more of an arc then a snap, but i can work it that. i love this ball already, and its going to be my all around ball. going to switch it with my rampage every now and then if i want the snap or arc.

the rampage has worked the best for me. the mammoth is great provided there's enough oil.

Punisher
Rampage
Sidewinder
Wizard

This is a solid arsenal all at the same price point.

i too like the rampage. but my sidewinder seems to be able to play more lane conditions. the least amount of balls i can carry, the better. but there are some days i want both. =P
