Title: Brunswick Fanatic SS vs. Roto Grip DD Trick
Post by: Gill Man on March 28, 2017, 09:53:39 PM
I'll be purchasing a new symmetric solid soon and was thinking I'd go with the SS. My last two balls have been Brunswick and Radical, so I thought I'd stay with the line. However, after seeing a few DareDevil Tricks in my leagues recently, that ball also looks to fill the bill for what I'm looking for. Has anybody seen the SS enough to compare the two? I have not seen a Fanatic SS thrown in my leagues yet. Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks,
GillMan

I think the SS is stronger than the Trick in both cover and core. Should be similar overall motions though. Just depends on what kind of oil you intend to use the ball on.

Is the DD trick above or below the Timeless? Sorry for the hijack. I usually throw hammer but I want to try other brands

The Trick is stronger.

As to the OP, the Trick and Fanatic SS are pretty similar. Both are proven symmetrical core shapes with strong solid covers. The only difference is the Fanatic SS has a higher differential

I love my SS it filled a gap I was missing, it reads the mid lanes extremely well.
