Brunswick has bought Ebonite!!!!

No joke. Can’t believe it. More details to come. I heard it earlier and thought my friend had the info reversed. Made a call and I am floored.

Go Motiv. Get Motivated. 100% Made in the USA.

Only company that can say that.

Ummm, correction

This include spare balls? (edit:  well look at that looks like it does for 900 as well)  Guess that partially explains why those sniper balls are so pricey.  Probably going to mostly prefer USA made stuff going forward (love Motiv also) but more than likely won't pay double for a spare ball unless has a real dynamic core.

I bought a few DV8’s last year and just sold them. Nothing special. probably go Storm/global in the future unless the EBrunswick stuff acts like the EBI of late. Only time will tell
The harder I try the harder they fall

I don't buy Motiv equipment because of "100% made in the USA"; even though that is a very good reason.
I have tried just about every brand out there.  And there are a few balls that are special.  However, I buy mostly Motiv simply because they work for me. I LOVE their equipment and the 100% USA is an extra bonus.
I personally will be thinking and praying tomorrow for the 170 employees of EBI who lost their jobs in Michigan.  Hope all who love bowling will say a prayer for them tomorrow and hope they find another good job soon.  Happy Thanksgiving to all of you on BR.

Tell me, please, what exactly will these “prayers” you speak of do? Make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside?

Motiv's current Sniper's are polythane. They aren't plastic so durability isn't an issue. They are low end urethane, thus the few extra bucks for them.

Oh ok makes sense like the Hammer Tough then.  Didn't know that.  Pretty happy with my Pathogen Blue Dot but kind of wondered about that in past.
Here today.  Gone tomorrow.

My mistake.  Kentucky not Michigan.
northface28....what is your problem??  Apparently you have no feelings for those who have lost their jobs.  Only a person with a cold heart could post what you posted in response to my wanting tomorrow on Thanksgiving to express thanks for everything that's good in my life and to wish/pray that those at EBI who have lost their jobs to hopefully find a good job to replace the job they recently lost.
If you can't understand that on Thanksgiving when were suppose to give thanks, then I feel sorry for someone like you.

Thanks, however, you still didn’t answer my question. You sound like the typical American who “gives thanks” on a day designed to push cultural propaganda.

I too do not, nor did I ever, say a prayer for anything. Saving jobs, like anything else, requires human intervention.  However, in defense of Bowlaholic, I didn't interpret his post as being indifferent in any way to those who lost their jobs in Hopkinsville, Ky. The only thing that I might disagree with in his post is that he believes that balls made in the U.S. is a "bonus".  As I had stated previously, I try to buy only American-made products when possible. This is my "prayer".

I normally don't really care how a ball looks, but that ball is ugly.  It won him a major though.
