Brunswick Knock Out Black & Blue (WWRD 1/28/2022)
One of the most popular releases in 2021 was the Brunswick Knock Out, a strong contender for Ball of The Year. Keeping the bowler favorite Melee Core, Brunswick has boosted the cover to Savvy Hook 3.5 Solid. Changing the finishing process a stronger to help delay lane shine and cut through the oil better, makes the Black & Blue a great choice since the Knock Out is no longer available. Weight choices are 12-16lbs. and all are built with DynamiCore for increased hitting power and durability.

I used mine today briefly and it does look like a KEEPER.  Drilled it pin up and 4" from PAP.  I was surprised at it's continuation even with a fairly strong finish (500, 2000).

I will know more within a few weeks of using it, but so far I'm impressed.

As a fan of the original Brunswick Knock Out, I was excited to drill up a Knock Out Black and Blue. That ball was one of my favorites and quickly became a benchmark ball for me.

Featuring the Melee Core, another one of my favorites, the Knock Out Black and Blue has a 500, 2000 Siaair finish and has more bit than the original Knock Out.

This ball definitely has more bite to it and needs oil. That makes it great for playing in the middle part of the lane on a typical house pattern, and also works well on some of the heavier volume sport patterns.

When the lanes burn up, this ball will not be in your hand, but is a great ball on the fresh and when you need something to roll through the front part of the lanes when there is a lot of oil. For me, that makes this ball something that will always be in my bag.
