urethane ball

I am getting a Brunswick attack zone drilled up, its the green pearl urethane version, wondering if anyone remembers this ball and how much it hooked, I am drilling this for extremely dry conditions when I cant keep anything else on the lane.

WOW! Where did you find this piece of ancient history???
I just looked up the Brunswick info sheet on this one. Not only is it polished pearlized urethane, the RG is HUGE ad the differential is small but it is a dynamic core; so drill it like a 2 piece. I never used one but here's the info sheet, if it helps:

It's not going to be a ball to cross many boards on today's conditions, but it can be a valuable piece when everything else wants to hook too hard.  With urethane think CONTROL.

I still use my Avalanche Pearl Urethane when they are really dry and it's tough to beat.

Remember to wipe it off religiously between shots since the oil takes a lot longer to absorb into the cover, and play straighter lines (comparatively) as a rule due to the slower response to friction that urethane provides.  These are characteristics of all urethane balls, not just yours.  Good luck.

This might be similar to my Brunswick Groove Cranberry urethane pear, which I bought NIB off Craiglist for $40 this year. Ball was pin in so we drilled it pin in grip center with the CG slightly kicked out. Almost a Rico drill but no weight hole.

This ball has proven to be a moneymaker and a really unique piece in my bag. I can basically play down the twig all day and move at best 1-2 boards every 4 games or so. Ball looks like it's loping down the lane and then it just carries. Never ever over-reacts. And more length than I've seen from every other urethane I've thrown.

You will need to put some surface on it. 1000 or 2000 abralon have been good for me.

found it in local pro shop, using it to replace my taboo spare, just need something to hook about 3-5 boards more than plastic.
