Brunswick Guys Please HELP

I see alot on here about rico 1 and 2, or something like that, and was wondering what is the difference.  I want to try it out and would really appreciate any help.  If you could post how to go about laying this out, I am going to try the smokin with the rico drill.  Thanks in advance for the help.

I know what the rico drill does, just not the difference between the two, and not how to lay them out, so I can drill one.

Yo Nick,

I was going to drill a Rico for my dad but didn't. The
ball i was going to lay it out on was a Classic Zone.
I actually drew it out by putting the pin in the middle of his span and
the MB at 45 degrees. When i measured 6-3/4 from the PIN through the
CG, the hole would of been just on top of the MB. Would that have been right?

I'm not Nick, but you just described how I drilled my Tsunami;  the XH is right on top of the PSA locator.  Ball rolls great, though.

That's 'cause Rico did.  

"Rico 2," or "High Rico," differs from the original Rico only in that the pin is *above* the midline instead of *on* the midline.

ill have to look, but i have heard of it, i dont know if it is in the USBC rule book or not, but i did read it somewhere, ill have to find it.

maybe im wrong, but i know i read somewhere that only gripping holes are allowed to be pitched.

maybe someone with more experience than me will know for sure.

i am wrong, i just called my pro shop, he said that you can pitch x-holes, but it affects the flare pattern.
the most he pitches is 1¼".

I believe pitched weight holes are the cornerstone of the target weight hole idea from Lanemasters.  By pitching the hole, you are affecting things like finger, thumb, top, and bottom weight differently.
