One of the product specialists just told me it looks like a Danger Zone on the lane. Not weak by any stretch.

Too often we just look at "numbers" and decide yes or no on a ball before it's released. Reserve judgement on this one until it's been out for at least a day or so.

You may have just sold me another Brunswick ball. I've looked really hard at the last pearl Avalanche, but didn't want a strong, PK18 reaction.

PK17 on a rolly core? Really looks nice.

How will the price from my distributor compare to the PG's?  --  JohnP

Might be something I decide to pickup, I am looking for a ball that is smooth and easy to handle.

JohnP, depends on the distributor, but should be around the same price.

A urethane ball in the Avalanche series is
gonna be a real winner in my eyes.

Looks like something you'd be able to really YANK ON at the bottom and have it "stay still" for 40 feet.  THat's always a winner in my book.

I have seen this ball thrown in test form.  Since we didn't know what it was excatly just watching the ball go threw the pins it seemed to me to be a weaker core ball. Didn't blow the rack just went the pins like a ball should imho. It didn't overeact off the dry either just a really clean look going down the lane.

It should give the Freeze some competition, to bad it wont come out any earlier league's are almost over.

The new Avalanche will be a Pearl Urethane. I will be getting one of those bad boys.

If these roll anywhere close to the Pearl Sapphire Zone, sign me up.

Holy cow, I may have to pick up one of those, too. Right now I use an old pin down Speed Demon Zone for a very urethane-like reaction on an old wood house where I bowl my main league currently, I think this would be a good replacement.

Nick, did these ship on time?  Some on one of the online sites that they wouldn't be available until March 31st.
